The team have asked me to write a weekly blog to gain an insight into my thoughts, as I go about my job, which is to manage money.

There is enough output elsewhere to understand our current views on markets, and themes, so this is a much more random view on things that occur to me, on a day to day basis.

Some weeks, there will be much to say, others not. It might also be constrained by time, but usually it will be written here, at the kitchen table, during the weekend.

I will attempt to be fair, and reasonable; if it turns in to a rant, it will quickly become pointless.

The spelling should be ok, the grammar may not. This is a result of a poor education; educating children makes you poor, just as it did to my parents, and now to me.

Finally, these are my thoughts, and views. The team may have become used to them but that does not imply that they share them.
